Dear everyone
Halfway through the campaign, and we are at more than a 1000% percent of our funding goal. It's truly amazing - and we could not be any happier.
We are setting in all efforts to start production before the campaign ends, to mitigate any potential delays.
As you can see from the campaign, and last update, we have listened to your comments, and the confirmed stretch goal at 300.000$ to increase the seat width at 30% has been unlocked. The awesome part of this goal - is that is will not be an additional cost for our backers - the Zen simply becomes a better product.
The design is not complete yet, but we have sent word to our factory contact to get started on the prototyping.

We are looking into other stretch goals - but have not reached any conclusions yet. We will keep the suspense a little while longer. :)

Dear all
Just a quick status update from cold and rainy copenhagen - we are very happy to have so many engaged backers! We are getting many positive comments on the product, and good ideas on when and where to use the new ZEN.
Several backer messages say that they are looking forward to using it during work hours. That standing desk is increasingly present in the office environment. The fact that so many a suffering form ligament injuries, from sports, og simply bad working posture. Zen is created to be posture enhancing, meaning the more you use it the stronger you will get, and the better it will feel to use Zen.

A question the we get asked a lot, is what are our experience with bringing Sitpack through airport security (US-EU-ASIA) :) We have quite a few experiences. In short 90% of the time, Sitpack passes the X-Ray, the few times it's been picked out by staff, we end up in a friendly chat about the product. But newer has it been taken from us, nor have we heard that to be the case from customers. So rest assured, your Zen will not be mistaken for a light saber ;) .... Swoosh
Next question, which is not so often asked, but does raise a valid point on balance and on traction of the ZEN foot. Would the ZEN X be useful on a paddle board? - and you know, why not. It's a great question we got from a backer, in line with many questions regarding the usefulness in boating. Some guys go for hours or half days on their SUP (stand up paddle) - So why not bring a long a chair for resting. We would love to see that picture - truly ZEN !! The question remains - how will the foot react on the surface in combination with water. Without having testet it on a SUP, we can say that the foot is made of high-friction elasto polymers, and its not going anywhere on 99% of all surfaces. On a paddle board or a boat - even though the foot has barbs, it's recommended only to use it after through testing.

Merry Christmas + first factory fee paid

Merry Christmas everyone
As we are closing in on Christmas festivities with family and friends, we want to share some good news. We have gotten the production schedule confirmed, and KICKSTARTED production yesterday by paying the first upfront fees. Today the factory has commenced the production of tubes and locking mechanisms. First the factory will begin with technical preparations. In this process factory engineers and tool makers run through the project throughly before ordering of tool steel, etc. which will not take long as steel makers are close by the factory park.
We will let you get back to buying the last christmas presents :)
